Spending Cuts

Statement

Kay Granger, what a piece of work! She voted for a bill this week that would direct President Obama to specify 100 billion dollars worth of cuts to avoid automatic cuts that will take place in January. She voted against a Democratic alternative that would do the same thing, plus raise taxes on the wealthy. Doesn't she understand that reducing the deficit and debt will require new revenue as well as spending cuts. Spending cuts without new revenue will devastate the economy.
